Project Dhvani's Pooja Choksi was a part of the panel discussion at the IASC 2021 Forest Commons Virtual Conference. She presented the preliminary results of her bioacoustics research (along with collaborators - Siddharth Biniwale, Devendra Korche, Mayuri Kotian, Pravar Mourya and Rajkumar Wariva) in central India and discussed the implications of management systems on biodiversity.

Panel Discussion at the National Geographic Explorers Festival 2021

Pooja Choksi represented Project Dhvani at the National Geographic Explorers Festival 2021. The session, Technological Advances on Bioacoustics for Research and Conservation, was an in-depth conversation with four National Geographic explorers who have contributed immensely to bioacoustics research and conservation. Project Dhvani's Pooja Choksi and Siddharth Biniwale wrote an article titled 'A Mixtape From the Forests of Central India' that was featured in Nature inFocus.
